Avril Lavigne lanza What the Hell

Después de varios años sin escuchar nada de ella, Avril Lavigne regresa con 'What the hell', y lo hace mostrando mucha piel. El video comienza con la canadiense en lencería, y a lo largo del clip su novio la va persiguiendo por todos lados, mientras ella choca taxis, interrumpe juegos de basketball y se compra ropa, hasta que ella se deja alcanzar, en uno de sus conciertos, para terminar en donde comenzaron: en la cama. Muy al estilo de sus videos anteriores, nada más que éste también podría ser un catálogo de Sony, o de su propia línea de ropa, Abbey Dawn

La encontramos en el peldaño siguiente dentro de esa evolución que busca convertir progresivamente su repertorio en algo fundamentalmente electrónico. La longevidad de las artistas pop siempre está determinada por el grado de desenvolvimiento que éstas tienen para incursionar en los distintos géneros y variedades de moda, así que el hecho de que Lavigne no pueda fluir tan naturalmente por ellos debido a su naturaleza rock-friendly es una gran dificultad. Aunque no pueda adaptarse a las convencionalidades fácilmente, reemplaza toda la analogía por sintetizadores y crea un sonido bastante distinguible. De sobrevivir en el mercado, será una gran proeza.
